On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Roosevelt will host the 9th Annual Veteran's Dinner. This event, organized by PE Teacher Gay Flax and her committee, has become an important tradition for the Roadrunners who all have a part in the day. We transform our cafeteria for the day into a banquet hall decorated in red, white, and blue and invite family members of our Roadrunners who have served or are serving in any branch of the military for a catered meal. Kindergarten opens the festivities by leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance, 1st - 4th grade present the entertainment, and 5th grade students are the servers. We are delighted to carry on this tradition! Thank you Veterans for your service to our great country. May our one day of service to you be a small token of thanks from your Roosevelt Roadrunners!
