(REMINDER: OCTOBER MENTEE LOG DUE BY November 5 and CLASSROOM OBSERVATION DUE BY December 10)

Mentor/Mentee Discussions

  • Set goals for next classroom observation

  • Discuss community resources – public library, public services, local food banks, shelters, community assistance programs

  • Discuss evidence of learning, checks for understanding, and other types/purposes of formative assessment

  • Discuss thinking prompts, metacognition, and student reflection on learning

  • Discuss social media tools for the purpose of professional learning

  • Review how to have a difficult conversation with a student, parent, colleague, or administrator

  • Discuss interdisciplinary lessons, employability skills, and individual plans of study

  • Review content standards, scope and sequence, and begin planning for 2nd semester

District Mentee Meetings
